Terms and Conditions:
While working with Portrait X as models you will receive up to four professionally edited images from a shoot, no more or no less, It is not up to us but the photographers you work with that day if you get more edited images. As a photographer a normal day on our shoots will last up to four hours in winter and six hours in summer with a half an hour break for models to warm up, have lunch and more. Our shoots work on a group basis, meaning that you will be expected to work with more than one photographer and more then one model. Each model group has one model mentor, one professional photographer to act as a tutor and the organisers Samantha and Marcus will be around checking on every groups progress throughout the day unless they themselves are working as models. This is how we work at Portrait X. You can ask any questions to the mentors or tutors. You have the chance for an hour after the event to network with Portrait X and it's members after.
We ask for money up front for all shoots with no deposit system or refund process. These are tickets sold to an event and if you cannot make the date for any reason we apologise but under no circumstance can it be refunded. By paying to attend this event you agree to this. You can however ask the event organiser to transfer the ticket to another event coming up.
Outfits that are loaned to you must be returned in the same condition as they were handed to you same goes for the props. If we do not receive props or outfits at the end of the day or they are marked as heavily soiled, damaged or worse you will have to pay a fine on those items. By having a loaned outfit or prop you take the risk of this happening. If you do not want to have this responsibility then you must attend with your own costuming and props and pay for these yourselves. We do not have a range that caters to anything below or over 8-14 dress sizes. We do not cater for child models or heavy set males within our wardrobe at this time. Sorry for this inconvenience.
Our photo shoot events are both indoor and outdoor all times of the year. We ask for those who attend to please take care of themselves and bring along warm clothing, rain jackets, jumpers, gloves, scarves, flasks, food, water, any medications they need, umbrella's, good walking shoes. Our events are an adventure not just a studio set up. To get the best locations for shoots you have to be outdoors especially for fantasy based imagery. For all studio based or hired locations the shoots will be more expensive due to hiring of location. Be aware of this when signing up to our events where by studios or indoor locations are present.
Copyrighted images must not be re edited by any party on board these events. In the event that you re edit it is possible for our photographers to sue based on the photographers contract. Under no circumstances does this fall onto PX, by doing something of this kind you take full responsibility. Copyright stays that of the photographer unless stated otherwise and cannot be used without prior permission for anything other then social media posts
At the beginning of every event release forms must be signed. This will protect every person on board our shoots. If you fail or do not wish to sign a release form this means you attend this event without proper protection against issues that arise during or after our events. We strongly advise you to sign.

We pride ourselves on fully protecting all attendees during a PX event.
After every shoot:
It is expected from all of our attendee photographers associated and not with PX to get images over to portraitxofficial@hotmail.com within a 2 week period through We Transfer only. Those who fail to do so without reason will not be part of our magazine, websites or promotional material. Any photographers who pay to be on board our events are expected to hand us their edited images of models they worked with. Refusing to hand over images of models who attend our events is not tolerated and will be taken seriously as these models have every right to see and request their images you have edited. However it is illegal for any model to remove copyright from an image or use as their own image and we expect all models to give credit to photographers they work with on social media only. Models cannot use these images without permission for professional services or to promote themselves as a business. You can use these on facebook pages, instagram, facebook groups even on websites but not anything where it states your rates. After all shoots every model will receive one digital art by Samantha Beck of EverRealm Art. These art pieces can be used however you see fit as they are paid for within the package. Images will be released through our magazine Secret Eden. By signing a release form you allow us to do this. By not signing you will not be published and promoted by PX.
How to sign up for future events:
On our events at the end of the day there will be an hour session whereby photographers and models can choose to continue to shoot within their groups without tuition and mentoring for fun or to follow the group to a nearby restaurant or pub whereby a network event will be take place. Please note this is not included in price of the ticket and you will be expected to pay for your food or drinks. There you can sign up to our guestbook and small talk from the organisers where you will then receive all further information on all upcoming events. You will also get to network with the PX team during this time.
